Earrwigs are a pest that have long, dark brown bodies and have a set of pincers on the back end of the body. You may have these pests in abundance outside of your home as well, which is why they may be coming inside. Clean up your exterior and do some pest control outside as well. Remove rubbish outside of your home and clean out your gardens that are close to your home, as these may be what is attracting these pests. Spray your gardens with a pesticide that is safe for your plants such as a vinegar and water mixture, or you can also use diatomaceous earth outside of your home.

Repair Gaps Around Your Home

If you have gaps around windows and doors, or elsewhere around your home, pests may be getting inside very easily. Be sure to repair these gaps and fill in holes as necessary around your home to prevent these or other pests from making their way into your home.
