Earrwigs are a pest that have long, dark brown bodies and have a set of pincers on the back end of the body. These pests can pinch when they feel threatened, and although it may not be too painful, they can still be a nuisance. Nobody wants to be pinched. These pests can invade your gardens and your flower beds, but they can also invade your home. These pests will eat just about anything, including plants and even other pests. When these pests get into your home, they may be there because they've found something to eat in your home, or they have found that your home has a better environment than what they were living in outside. Do Some Pest Control Of Your Own

To kill these pests, you can simply smash the ones you see, but there may be more that you don't see. There may be some pests that are lingering in your crawl space, or in the dark parts of your basement, or even behind your baseboards and deep in your carpet fibers To help get rid of these pests, you can sprinkle diatomaceous earth around your home and in your basement and crawl space, or you can spray dish soap mixed with vinegar and water to help kill these pests. A bug bomb can also be helpful in killing these pests.

Clean Up Your Exterior

You may have these pests in abundance outside of your home as well, which is why they may be coming inside. Clean up your exterior and do some pest control outside as well. Remove rubbish outside of your home and clean out your gardens that are close to your home, as these may be what is attracting these pests. Spray your gardens with a pesticide that is safe for your plants such as a vinegar and water mixture, or you can also use diatomaceous earth outside of your home.

Repair Gaps Around Your Home

If you have gaps around windows and doors, or elsewhere around your home, pests may be getting inside very easily. Be sure to repair these gaps and fill in holes as necessary around your home to prevent these or other pests from making their way into your home.
